I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location to relax by the sea. The hotel offers stunning views and a truly serene atmosphere. The rooms were warm and cozy, and the service was top-notch. The hotel offers stunning views over Galway Bay and the surrounding nature, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The service is exceptional, especially in the Gallery Restaurant, and the location is truly breathtaking. However, the dining experience could be improved with fresher dishes, and there were some unexpected charges for unconsumed items.
The hotel is cozy and welcoming, with faultless food and service, but the rooms need updating. While functional, they could benefit from a refresh. Some room configurations may be uncomfortable for guests.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the positive side, the interiors were fabulous, and the super king bed was very comfortable, but there was no lift to the lower level, and the place felt a bit outdated and cold, especially on the stormy night I stayed.
